Character Descriptions - McKimson Regional
Well, the general idea behind this page was to give some info about the various characters just in case your memory needs jogging. It's not complete... but you can always ask about a given character in the club message board.

Tasmanian Devil Also known as Taz. A Robert McKimson-created character known for his insatible hunger who pursues Bugs several times, and Daffy once. His films include: Devil May Hare (1954), Bedevilled Rabbit (1957), Ducking the Devil (1957), BIll of Hare (1962) and Dr. Devil and Mr. Hare (1964).
Clyde Nephew of Bugs Bunny who appeared in His Hare Raising Tale (Freleng, 1951) and Yankee Doodle Bugs (Freleng, 1954).
Miss Prissy A lonely hen used by Robert McKimson in several cartoons. She is best known for having designs on Foghorn Leghorn. A young son named "Egghead Jr" appeared with her sometimes. Prissy also starred as a hen from Porky's farm in "An Egg Scramble" (McKimson, 1950).
The Gremlin Mischievous little character whose attempts to sabotage a plane in "Falling Hare" (Clampett, 1943) keep Bugs Bunny busy.
Michigan J. Frog Singing frog who would only perform for his finder. The star of the Chuck Jones masterpiece, "One Froggy Evening" (1955).
K-9 Green martian dog who assists Marvin on a couple of his outings.
Henery Hawk A young chickenhawk who is best known for appearing in several Foghorn Leghorn cartoons. In most cases he was looking for a chicken, but wasn't sure what a chicken looked like, and this led to confusion in the barnyard.
Hippety Hopper Young kangaroo who gets mistaken for a large mouse in several Sylvester and Sylvester Jr cartoons.
Foghorn Leghorn Loudmouthed rooster created by Robert McKimson. He was known best for his practical joke exchanges with Barnyard Dog and he attempts to convince Henery hawk that he wasn't a chicken.

Slowpoke Rodriguiez The cousin of Speedy Gonzales, and in many ways the opposite - after all he's the slowest mouse in all Mexico! Slowpoke appeared in two Speedy cartoons - "Mexicali Shmoes" (1959) and "Mexican Boarders" (1962).
The Three Bears Chuck Jones created his own version of the three bears: Pa (Henry), Ma and Junyer. Pa was known for his explosive temper, Junyer was well-intentioned, but not very bright and so he often made mistakes (usually leading to disasters for Pa). Ma was the bright but quiet one in the family. The voices were supplied by three people - none of whom was Mel Blanc! They were as follows: Billy Bletcher (Pa), Bea Benederet (Ma) and Stan Freberg (Junyer). The bearsappeared in 5 cartoons: "Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears" (1944), "What's Brewin', Bruin?" (1948), "The Bee-Deviled Bruin" (1949), "Bear Feat" (1949), and "A Bear for Punishment" (1951).
Egghead Jr Brainy young chicken and son of Miss Prissy. Foghorn Leghorn often found himself trying to teach him the bespeckled lad something only to have Egghead Jr. devise an incredible solution.
